As Harley starts to feel better, her BIG personality is starting to show itself!
She's a typical Weim pup- very goofy, very bouncy, and VERY much a nose. I've been giving her a little more freedom and letting her walk herself around the house.

Hi Everyone!
Harley is progressing so well and so much faster than I had originally thought she would! One thing for sure is that she didn't loose an ounce of her personality and is taking everything in stride! She's still on crate rest, but does have her staples out and has started some minor therapy to get that "range of motion" going again. She's also starting to use her legs and is figuring out how exactly to place them and correct them. She has a long way to go still, but it's the little things that count!
Many of you already know Harley through the donation drive that went on earlier this week to save her and help pay for her surgery-- thank you!
Harley will be staying with my crew for a few weeks while she starts the healing process. While only 8 months old and already been through so much, she still has that silly zest for life that we all adore in our own Weims. She's very bruised and is more or less a bit of a Frakenpuppy with all the plates and staples, but is taking it all in stride :)
If you would still like to help Louisville Weim rescue out with her vet bill, please visit our donation widget on the LWR facebook page!
